We must admit that we disagree with the author on one point. When he or she says “I like to include a mini agent-vendor interview where necessary, and also include some narration from the agent throughout the video. This is where the agent can really delve into the main drawcards and create immediate attraction from the browsing buyers” we are not in agreement.
We think this is a bad idea for creating an appealing video for the property. Using agents to do narration looks amateurish – because it is. If you want the video to look and sound great, have the agent write the script to include important selling points about the property. But have a professional narrator add his or her voice.
The only advantage of having the agent do the narration is to pander to the agent. For the video company, this may well get future video production business from that agent. But it’s not aesthetically correct.
Videos in property video marketing are one of the best ways to appeal to the potential customers. Poor video marketing methods can turn off a buyer or seller just as soon as they see it.
